Regarded by all as Ireland's premier and most colourful racing festival, Galway Races Summer Festival Meeting offers everybody the chance to experience not only a sporting event, but also a unique occasion filled with atmosphere passion and craic. 2007 saw the opening of the state of the art €22 million Killanin Stand with its superb facilities including the Plate and Hurdle Suites, food, bar, tote and toilet facilites on the first and second floor with a free 700 seating balcony.
