The racecourse operates throughout the year with a total of 22 meetings culminating with the hugely successful post Christmas 4-day National Hunt Festival.

The racing calendar in Leopardstown can broadly speaking be broken down into 9 National Hunt meetings and 14 Flat meetings. The National Hunt Season opens with the 4-day Christmas festival, 26-29 December and closes with our Pre-Chelteham meeting in March. The flat season runs from April to November with the key meetings in this period including the Heinz 57 Phoenix Stakes and the Champion Stakes, a race which is now part of the Emirates World Series Racing Championship.
