Location Tralee racecourse is one and a half miles from the town centre, off the Tralee-Killarney road.

Public Transport Regular train service from Dublin (Heuston Station). Tel Irish Rail (larnrod Eireann) 00 353 1 836 6222 for train timetable. Tralee railway station is approximately 1 mile from the racecourse. A special bus service from the railway station to the racecourse is provided on racedays.

Places of Interest The town also boasts the highly acclaimed high-tech county museum, a refurbished working windmill, an aquadome, the Geraldine Experience, Tralee Steam Railway, Siamsa Tire, and the National Folk Theatre.

Tralee is the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula and the starting point for the Ring of Kerry. There are also magnificent beaches nearby at Banna and Inch; an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer at Barrow; and sea angling at Fenit.
